We are looking for a highly motivated Staff Accountant to help meet the growing demand for our services to join our team in our fast-paced environment in Brainerd, MN.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for accounts payable and receivable.
• Responsible for accounting and job costing for select projects, including preparation of budget vs. actual cost information.
• Responsible for entering all project-related information into the construction accounting system to ensure timely and accurate job cost information.
• Responsible for maintaining budget controls and ensuring job costs and other project reports are accurate.
• Ability to effectively communicate accounting and project-related matters with Project Managers, with a focus on industry best practices.
• C.I.P and financials preparation.
• Responsible for weekly/quarterly payroll taxes.
• Other duties may be assigned

• Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials

• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction

• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)

• Ability to read technical documents and drawings

• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times

Ideal applicants will have experience in stick framing and setting panelized walls. Siding and trimming experience a plus.

Compensation (based on experience):

• Carpenters: $25-$35/hour
• Laborers: $20-$25/hour
